"To guide and help our students, in the Academia’s diverse and caring community, to obtain their maximum individual potential in order to become persons
that can make a positive difference both within Mexico and internationally".
At the Academia Internacional we believe in student-centered learning to prepare young people for the challenges of future life and work. Our national and international programmes focus on teaching skills that include language proficiency and the ability to access, process, synthesize and evaluate multiple types of information to reach balanced conclusions.
Our teachers are reflective practioners who use a variety of learning strategies to develop critical thinking. Students are encouraged to participate in the teaching and learning process by continuously assessing their own strengths and weaknesses, and by setting personal goals.
Parents play an essential role in the process of learning by supporting the school’s philosophy and discipline policy. They believe in the importance of excellent behaviour and encourage their children to be hardworking, organized and reflective learners.
Our school innovatively identifies and develops students’ talents by giving them the opportunity to express themselves creatively and by nurturing their self-confidence and the belief they can have a positive impact on the lives of others, their community and their environment. The Academia Internacional develops individual potential for our students to become future leaders in all areas of society, both in Mexico and internationally.
The Academia’s educational values are designed to give students a strong moral foundation and an
emotional strength that will help to orientate them through the difficult choices that they will face later in
life. The values that we believe are important include:
A strong work ethic.
Sense of self-worth and personal identity.
Perseverance and the determination to overcome failure.
Respect for others and the ability to form good relationships.
Responsibility and the ability to admit, and to learn, from mistakes.
A commitment to help others, especially those without the same economic and social advantages.
A lifelong love of learning and the desire to continually improve.
